We are a professional team of traders\u00a0specializing in the development of Forex Expert Advisors (robots) for over 15 years<\/b>. Most of the robots we create never actually reach the end client. The reason is that, in the end, after all tests, they do not meet our criteria for a profitable and reliable robot. ADAPT EA represents a new, unique approach to the Forex market. Considering that the\u00a0Market is not constant<\/b>\u00a0but a dynamically changing variable, the approach to\u00a0settings and MM (Money Management) must also adapt<\/b>\u00a0based on the Market conditions. The ADAPT EA robot uses the grid principle as its main strategy. However, by using just a grid strategy, we wouldn\u2019t achieve outstanding reliability, let alone profitability \u2014 as demonstrated by backtests from 2000 to the present day. Yes, this type of strategy has weaknesses like any other. If the grid is too small, we often encounter situations where the trend exceeds our grid, resulting in losses. If the grid is too large, the system\u2019s profitability becomes so small that it ceases to be justified for use. This is where our other two innovative fundamental principles come into play, minimizing the drawbacks of the Grid strategy.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                          Troubleshooting and recommendations for backtesting:<\/h3>\n

                            • SPREAD. By default, the strategy tester in MT4 and MT5 sets the spread for testing as Current. In this case, it simply uses the value of spread that is currently in the Market, which can lead to an erroneous result on backtests, especially during weekends, because at that moment when the Market closes the spread can jump to 100-200 points (10-20 on 4 digits) and stay that way for the whole weekend. We recommend manually specifying a value of spread, which is an average usual for a pair being tested.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

                              • LEVERAGE. Not everyone knows, but the strategy tester uses a leverage of the account that is currently logged into MT. That is, if a leverage of your account is 1.200, then the backtest will be made with an emulation of the leverage of 1.200.
