Trend Scanner is a trend indicator that helps to determine the current and forecast market direction using an advanced algorithm. Thanks to flexible alert settings, the indicator will promptly warn you about a trend reversal.<\/p>\n

The indicator is intuitive and easy to use, and will be an excellent filter in your trending trading strategies. The lines of this indicator are also an excellent dynamic level for stop loss, and is used as one of the types of trailing stop in\u00a0Trading Panel.<\/p>\n

To fine-tune the alert, click on the triangle on the left in the information panel, after clicking, two lines of alert settings will appear:<\/p>\n

  1. Alerts On \/ Off \u2013 this line sets the chart timeframe, which the indicator will track and inform when the trend changes.<\/li>\n
  2. General alerts On \/ Off \u2013 this line sets timeframes on which the trend direction should coincide. For example, if you check the boxes on M30, H1, H4, the indicator will notify you of a trend change, only if the trend direction has turned in one direction on M30, H1, H4 timeframes.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Input parameters:<\/b><\/p>\n

    • Max Bars \u2013 the maximum number of bars to display the trend line. If the indicator loads the terminal heavily, decrease this value.<\/li>\n
    • Period \u2013 period of the Trend Scanner indicator.<\/li>\n
    • Multiplier \u2013 Trend Scanner indicator coefficient.<\/li>\n
    • Show alert on chart \u2013 enable \/ disable displaying a notification on the chart.<\/li>\n
    • Play sound on alert \u2013 enable \/ disable sound playback when the trend changes.<\/li>\n
    • Push notification \u2013 enable \/ disable sending push notifications about trend change.<\/li>\n
    • Alerts an email \u2013 enable \/ disable sending a trend change notification to email.<\/li>\n
    • Alerts on opened bar \u2013 enable \/ disable trend change notifications only on a closed bar.<\/li>\n
    • Sound file \u2013 the name of the sound file for sound notification.<\/li>\n
    • Show panel \u2013 show information panel. If the indicator loads the terminal heavily, disable the panel.<\/li>\n
    • Size panel \u2013 panel size.<\/li>\n
    • Color panel \u2013 panel color.<\/li>\n
    • Color panel border \u2013 panel border color.<\/li>\n
    • Color text \u2013 panel text color.<\/li>\n
    • Color up \u2013 color of the text up in the panel.<\/li>\n
    • Color down \u2013 color of the text up in the panel.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
